In the absence of controversy over the incoming ministers, it is the lot of an outgoing who arouses criticism on the first day of the constitution of the new government of Pedro Sanchez. The decision of the left-wing executive to appoint the Minister of Justice, Dolores Delgado, the state’s attorney general on Monday, scandalized the right and part of the judiciary, worried about the independence of the prosecution. The chief prosecutor, systematically replaced upon the arrival of a new government, is responsible for giving directives to his subordinates in the courts through the preparation of instructions and circulars. Delgado will do so in the context of current judicial developments marked by the prosecution of several Catalan pro-independence leaders and the application of prison terms to those who have been sentenced. However, the government she has just left and where she was replaced by her number 2, owes her training and stability to the support of the secessionist movement.
